The game is clearly utterly unfinished, and you can tell by looking at both the story and the game design. Mechanically I'll give you that, the mechanics are fucking beautiful and I wish we got an actually good game with them, but we didn't. We got a barebones plot with no actual conclusion, a horrendously implemented open world with maybe three thoughtfully designed areas, ~~one really bad boss~~ and a billion copy paste side ops with zero substance. The side-ops we ended up getting feel like they were slapped together by interns rather than Kojima's cream of the crop. this post just tells me you haven't really delved deep into the mechanics of TPP those side ops in GZ were there to introduce you to the ways you can finish missions in TPP take for example that mission when you had to plant C4 at the AA guns, guess what? you can do that same thing in almost every mission in TPP to create distractions for you to extract prisoners. that side op where you were in the chopper and had to cover someone's escape on the ground? you can do that in TPP, literally finish missions by calling in your chopper, getting on and then massacring the enemy base with that minigun heavily armed soldiers in a base? sneak your way in and kill/extract them one by one. don't want to sneak? drop in a tank and literally lay waste to everything in your path --- 2 line break(s), 160 characters allowed <cite>GranzonEx posted [p:908492797] in Unpopular ...
