Just Canadian white trash things lol. I met a guy like that in some class I had to take a few weeks back and all I could think is "man, this guy screams the IH BMX stereotype". Right down to him being late for class because his tire was flat. Granted he was like 40 years old but I digress.

I was into mountain biking for a couple years before I got back into bmx. For what it's worth if you ever feel compelled I highly recommend giving it another go.

Weird. They're all about the bmx here. If you know what a proper setup looks like they're super easy to spot though. Bars way too far forward, seat way up, and if they got pegs they're only on the back so they can double their meth head buddies around. Lol.

I used to really be into BMXing in my teens but kinda grew out of it when the place we used to ride and make dirt jumps was destroyed to build homes.

I still ride a bike every day but for transportation only. If I tried to hit some jumps these days I'd probably just hurt myself.

That's the worst. We built a giant lake jump in my old hometown and it got left alone for about a month but one day we came to hit it and city crews were taking it down. Same thing with dirt jumps in several places.

Also i hurt myself a lot trying to get back to riding like I could in my teens. My legs are a mass of bruises and scrapes. Lol.

It's alright though I've learned to fall like a pro again. Fall and feeble grind. Those are my main returning skills so far.

I currently live in a town of 1500 and the skatepark is super limited and kinda junky but it's like that too. Way off in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by a big field and mountains. I love it.

I mean you don't have to quit...I ride 24"s and basically just cruise around and hop on and off of stuff. I gave one to my girlfriend and she likes it so much she wants to ride every other day.

Yeah it's a weird feeling tbh. Seeing some kid half your age own you. And knowing you woulda rode circles around your current self as well
