location is usually set to the pizza hut down the street from me, but i was with my girl on the other side of town and she wanted the hut so i changed the location to order from one around there. Well today it's getting close to closing so i'm doing last minute work, and tryna finish my water bottle, and ordering pizza, and I didnt notice i ordered from the wrong one til I got halfway home and it hits me like a bag of bricks. I'm not driving way back across town for pizza hut ._.

They usually just give it away. I once ordered a pizza close to closing. I ordered it an hour early and specifically told them I wouldnt be there for about an hour. Went in with about a half hour before they closed and they had already given it away to someone because they thought I wasnt coming.

Don't feel bad, think of it like you gave free pizza to the staff (at least if it's like most places)

Though maybe you could call and ask them to change it to delivery? Never tried that but it seems plausible.

I almost did this twice but checked the location I was ordering from before doing anything else, do not want to spend money on food I'm not getting.

Markup on pizza is so high that while they might put you on their shit list (i.e. no deals offered), it'll probably cost them pennies. Last time I read into it I heard pizza had a >600% markup.

TLDR they DGAF.
