I struggle to think how communism could be implemented while still keeping society even functioning remotely the same. Like, you could get it to work if we still had a low human population and small, self governing villages everywhere, but there is no way it will ever work with populations in the hundreds of thousands or hundreds of millions. Anyone who says it could work just doesn't understand human nature.

Some people have this fantastical idea that socialist communism would mean that everyone got a comfortable salary and nobody would have to do a lick of work.

Basically, its the same people who feel that the government should pay for their student loans when they realized that they actually had to pay back the money. The people who support communism feel entitled to a bohemian, utopian lifestyle.

Working sucks, but Id rather know that I earned my money than got it from the government.

Capitalism is an economic model that prioritizes free trade and free enterprise. It isn't responsible for wars. Whereas Marxism explicitly advocates for violent revolution / civil war in order to eliminate the successful and the non-compliant.

And it is the free market that will keep introducing and accelerating solutions to global warming. Not communism.

Ok, and name a better, realistic system that will not cause the deaths of millions or billions more to implement. It's not perfect, but it is the best, most reliable system we have at the moment. There is no such thing as a utopia in this world. People are always going to suffer and die. We just have to hope we can minimize it.

What are you even blabbering about? Capitalism is responsible for the largest sustained reduction in global poverty that we've ever seen. 1 billion fewer in abject poverty over the last 20 years.
