Skye Reynolds 09/02/18 12:36:15 PM #1:	He's often considered the greatest football player of all time and, when he made the transition to Hollywood, he became the first black action hero. There were other black actors who might've starred in a western or crime drama, but he was the first black actor to make an entire career out of action-based roles. Rio Diablo The Dirty Dozen Ice Station Zebra Dark of the Sun 100 Rifles Slaughter The Slams Take a Hard Ride Three the Hard Way (and its spiritual successor: One Down, Two to Go) Mars Attacks The man has some crazy opinions. He's prejudiced and paranoid. And, more recently, he's said that the black community needs to not blame Trump. (I guess he wants to piss off everybody.) But it's not like he's the first athlete or action movie star to ever have a controversial viewpoint. He was one of the best football players; possibly the best. He was the first black action hero.
