If you open cross play for a shooting game to PC gamers, the console gamers will get wrecked.

This is.. a surprisingly good point. If players of Fortnite on PS4 started getting consistently rekt by players on other platforms it could make them not want to play, and more importantly to Sony make them not want to SPEND. Not saying I agree with the logic in the slightest but at least it sorta makes sense.

It's not the best place to play Skyrim or Fallout 4. XBOX One is the best in that regard thanks to its awesome mod support.

Lol, thats not even how it works

The ONLY way you play with PC players with cross play is if you have a PC player IN YOUR PARTY. As in, you elect to play with a PC player, so you elect to be in the pool for matchmaking with PC players. Otherwise if youre just with PS4 players you will only play with PS4 players. Thats how crossplay works on fortnite

Sony hates its buyers.

1. No external asset mod support for popular Bethesda games

2. No early access program (PS4 owners had to wait much longer to get their hands on Ark and Elite)

3. Shitty BC program, with only a limited amount of digital PS2 games to select from, and unreliable streaming of select PS3 games (contrast that with the BC of XBOX One)

4. Sony turned down EA when they talked to them about their EA access subscription idea. It was given the go ahead by Microsoft instead.

5. Compared to XBOX, much less app support (no CW app for example)

6. 20 dollars for their unreliable streaming service while Game Pass only costs 10.00 (there are often deals for just 1 dollar). Further, their streaming service doesn't give you access to just released games, while Game Pass does.
