By the time I was done with my 6 or was it 7 years at Petco, whenever someone complained about price / store price not matching online price, I literally just used the $1-5 dollar coupon (always picking $5) and price matching online prices (a policy that eventually was set in store)

I just couldn't be assed to deal with everyone shit attitude anymore.

Yup. No one ever looks at the menu. All day everyday people will ask "how much is...and what about..." when they can look above my head to see every single thing they could ever ask for (assuming it's not extremely customized).

I loved the times where the thing is new (which means it gets its own dedicated menu board with a single price on it) or prices changed so I didn't know the price off the top of my head, so when they ask" how much is..." I can turn around, look up, and read the price right off the menu.

That also reminds me of a joke from a comedian I can't remember right now. People in the drive thru asking the price when the menu is eye level with them. He said he would run outside, look for it on the menu, run back inside, and tell them the price.
