It can be a story that goes like "this fucking troll of a human fucked up my formulative years", or a goofy one that's like "yeah my art teacher got caught ripping a bong in the gym, they got fired lmao".

I'll start - in third grade I brought a joke book into class. Not to tell them, just to read - I was huge on reading in class at the time. My teacher notices it, and instead of reprimanding me, she starts to read some out.

I'm not super popular, so when his joke book gets a couple laughs, I try to play it up a bit. I'd say like "ha ha, get it?" a lot - it was a long time ago and I wasn't very socially adjusted, so I would have been annoying and cringy about it, sure. I acknowledge that.

Anyway - my teacher reads out one joke, and I do the "ha ha, get it" thing - and she fucking snaps at me and says "of course everyone gets it, you little idiot!"

I'm like 8 at the time, and she's in her late 30's at best.

That fucking annihilated any sort of confidence I had, which was already pretty low due to bullying. It's probably the first time that an adult talked shit to me, and I knew even as a child that they were in the wrong for saying that.

Teacher here.

Best moment was when one of my kids was playing PUBG Mobile during class. I snatched his phone from him and started playing. He was doing duos with his friend in the same class.

I ditched all of his weapons except a pistol, and he got vocally upset but didn't reach for the phone.

Went on to get 9 kills and win the game with just the pistol. Class goes beserk.

Absolutely nothing productive happened for the rest of the hour.

Didn't witness it myself but we had a teacher in my high school who freaked out one day and decided to just start throwing stuff around the classroom, tipping over desks and throwing textbooks at a kid he didn't like before storming out of the building. Naturally he didn't get in trouble at all despite having attacked a student

Teacher watched a kid continue to pick at me and then sent me to the principals office when I pushed the kid away from me.

I had a collage programming teacher who thought having computers in a programming class would be too much of a distraction so all the in class work was on paper.

I dont think anyone in that class learned how to program. I could write out a line of code for a test but hell if I could make anything useful.

I was in an arts program for college so it was pretty open with the things we'd say to each other, even teacher to student and vice versa. But one day one of the teachers, who was very gay put a student who was clearly in the closet on blast. The teacher was like, "I can't get a handle on your sexuality..." and then made the kid get up in front of the class and say "suck my cock" over and over

It was very bizarre to watch, ultimately he came out of the closet after that

Shithead teacher gave us a test that everyone failed. Not because we didn't study - it's because he used the wrong answer key. Everyone, from the dumbest kids to the star pupils, bombed this fucking test - and he didn't think something was wrong with that. Then when he did realize his mistake, he asked us if we wanted him to disregard that score. That was the closest I ever came to screaming at one of my teachers, guy was a moron anyway.

Didn't happen to me, but back in my freshman year of high school there was this kid that my history teacher really hated for some reason. The kid was quiet and kept to himself but the teacher always harassed him by calling him a moron and generally embarrassing him in class.

This reminds me of a college professor I almost forgot about.

Guy was fresh out of school and his first test was like a 2-3 hour test that he gave us 1 hour to do. Literally 2 people finished and the class average was like in the 40s-50s. It was pretty bad. I was one of the 2 who finished, but we both were turning in our test with like a minute to spare.

- teacher had affair with senior student. She was above age and consented so technically they couldn't do anything about it but he had to resign because obviously nobody would be able to look at him the same. Got paid for the next year and a half because of the teacher union contract which pissed off a lot of parents (taxpayers) but it was pre-negotiated.

- teacher threw a chair at a kid for talking during a fire drill. Happened before I got there, heard it second hand. He got suspended for like 2 months or something.

- Worst thing a teacher ever did to me was my 3rd grade teacher (who already hated me because I was perpetually bored in her class and daydreamed) overreacted to something that I supposedly did to a classmate and embarrassed me in front of the whole class as a power trip thing (I still maintain I didn't do it, but if I did, it was completely unintentional and an accident). Even the other kid was like "yo chill, it was an accident." She then called my mom and lied about what happened so I got it all over again at home, until the kids mom called and told my mom that he felt really bad about what happened and thought Mrs. Bitch really blew things out of proportion, which caused my mom to go in and nearly strangle her.

- One of my 6th grade teachers was a white trash lazy sack of garbage who didn't want to grade papers. Which was fine, less HW for us, but she'd make it up by grading us on mundane, stupid shit like making sure everything was written down in our planners verbatim, making sure our lockers were organized properly (e.g. jacket on the left hook), etc. And then if you ever missed one of her few HW assignments she'd give you detention. She also was on her 3rd husband when I had her and has since divorced and married again.

I had a few, but the worst would have to be the horticulture class I took in 11th grade.

Everything was fine at the start of the year, teacher was nice and laid back. Then about the middle of the year, when it started getting warmer outside and we could go outside to work things got kind of weird. He'd separate the class into smaller groups and give each one an assignment. He started pairing me up with himself to work on the water pipes in the green house. Nothing too strange about that at first... But then he started saying inappropriate things to me while we were away from everybody else.

When I'd go to screw in a pipe or something, he'd start with his comments. "Oh yeah, put your pipe in my hole and screw it till gets hard." as he's holding the other pipe. "Tell me when it gets hard, ok?" and "when you finish it'll spray all over everything in here."
I became extremely uncomfortable working with him, and I guess he realized that so he started insulting me and giving me tough assignments to do on my own.

Once he assigned me to move over a ton of gravel by myself. I had to shovel it into the wheelbarrow, wheel it around to the opposite side of the school, dump it, spread it, and do it again. The rest of the class had a free day and we're just goofing off out in the garden while I busted my ass trying to finish before class ended. By the end of I had blisters on my hands and some had burst. Then he proceeded to talk down to me for not getting it all moved in time.

I went to my principal and asked if I could drop the class, but he refused. Then he told the teacher what I had asked about, and he went off. Insulting me, and all the "lazy ass" students from my school(we had to travel 20 miles to this school) then he erased all my grades and flunked me for the year. >_>
Told me I'd have to retake all the tests and exams again in order to pass. Which would take over a week and there wasn't that much time left in the school year, which would put me coming into his class alone with him to make it up. I refused and just took the loss.

I was allowed to drop the class the next year despite it being a 2 year course. Some other teachers came to me with questions, wondering what happened because I never caused any problems before and his class was the only one where I ended up being "problematic". I just told them we didn't get along and to drop it.

well, there is this bad teacher , during my highschool.

This young woman asked my phone number one day because she said i was chosen as the class representative to broadcast information to my friends easily.

Well , she did text me some class stuff like upcoming quiz or homework deadline extensions , but there were also lots of personal messages from her asking about me.

It's always a good time to hear about shitty adults shaping the fabric of young minds.
