To be fair (and don't take this as a defense, it's not), she could mean where they don't care about the person being 17 instead of 18, because her argument seems to be that it was entirely consensual and that's the only issue at hand (and 17 is AOC where she lives and most of the world)

Interesting though that so many people who defended accused male actors or slandered their victims are suddenly so excited about this one.

Yeah, it could be age of consent laws. I thought about that, however, Europe doesn't have consent laws at 18 and neither does half of America. A lot of states have consent at 16.

The fact that she said Africa and the Amazon Rainforest, made me think she was talking about MeToo politics

Where a leader in the MeToo movement had sex with a minor/committed statutory rape.

The whole argument is that even if they aren't "raping" these young actresses, that it's an abuse of their power and status to take advantage of those trying to make it in the industry and she did exactly that

This isn't on the level of Weinstein though. Yeah it's gross, but so is the fact that he extorted her for it. Just looks like an all around example of shady shitty people doing shady shitty things.
