Could never get into it. What is up with people's ridiculous obsession with Nintendo? SNES, N64 are great but there's a lot of other games out there that are better.

Nah

It was good for its time, but the majority of the sequels are better. The same can be said of most other decent SNES games, though.

Besides Breath of the Wild none of the games have kept me interested for any extended amount of time.

Probably because its a series thats remained consistant as games continue to evolve

It can always be argued that the only true way to play Zelda is in its top down format so for all the 3d third person games to be as successful as they are shows Nintendo are doing something correctly and will continue to do so

I don't see what is there to NOT like Zelda. I mean, the NES ones didn't age well, but there gotta be at least one title in the series that can pick your interest, unless you don't like fantasy at all.

The original + randomizer is better than any game that's been released in the last 10 (maybe 15) years

It is still the best Zelda game ever made.

I still beat it every year or two. It's by far and away one of the all time great games.

I prefer Adventure of Link, myself, but the original Legend of Zelda is iconic. Not the first of its genre (see: the Falcom back catalogue), perhaps, but it is remembered for a reason.

My philosophy teacher was pro-left handed. In grade schools, I guess they teach kids to use their right hand only because they don't want kids being different from each other.... itz pretty sad.

Being on Team Playstation back in the early 2000s because 90s life was just normal stuff. the N64 was kind of getting old in and not appealing.

Playing on emulators kinda suck because you don't get the hardware feel, it's like real synthesizers and then computer generated music stuff. Itz a different energy when there's electricity pounding through the system instead of 1's and 0's.

Nintendo was a bit traditional and conservative for a long time before the Wii and DS came out. I can't stand that company anymore when they started going full mainstream. It got nerdy in the wrong direction.

You can't really understand how revolutionary Legend of Zelda was unless you were there when it came out. It was the first console game with a save feature. The overworld was SPRAWLING. And on top of that, it basically invented New Game+ by having a second quest packed on the cartridge. It was crazy.

Damn.... I guess it was ahead of its time. Late 1980s?? sigh. Tales of Phantasia and Illusion of Gaia came out a few years after. idk what it's going to take to play those 2 games. Zelda games just seem too basic to be playing as an adult in this modern era.
