Kool Aid Man, Paul Serone, Ash Williams, The Maxx, Amon, and Hercules have been trapped in the Hypercube! Location of the fight: The Hypercube - The structure as seen in Cube 2: Hypercube. All mercs will begin in the starting chamber with no information provided to them and no knowledge how they arrived.. Which side will win?

Guidelines

- The fight will occur in real-time (like an FMV sequence), focusing on how the characters would function in a real-time environment.

- "Broken" refers to a lot of things, including insta-death, auto-effects, a variety of status effects (e.g., Imp, Silence, Stop, *not* Poison), and revival. Unless stated otherwise, nobody has them, though do use your own discretion.

- There may be SPOILERS from all of the shows/movies the characters are from.

Rules for Voting

- Bold your votes (using bold HTML tags).

- You do not need to require justification for your vote, though the admins reserve the right to disqualify votes in the advent of obvious alt voting and other similar scenarios.

- Leaders cannot vote for their own teams, but they are free to argue their case.

- If you want to switch your votes simply bold the change; there's no need to delete your post, though you may if you wish.

- This match will end in 24 hours.

There are no teams, each merc will work or won't at their own discretion. Vote for individuals you believe would escape the Hypercube alive.

Kool-Aid Man is as he appears in the Kool-Aid commercials and all other associated media. He has an uncanny ability to break through walls without hurting himself. Kool-Aid Man has the ability to go through any walls or other physical or projected barriers as though they weren't there, leaving a hole exactly his size and shape in the walls.

Paul Serone is as seen in Anaconda, armed with his tranquilizer rifle.

Ash Williams is as seen in the Evil Dead series with his bionic hand as seen in Ash vs Evil Dead and his Boomstick. He may freely swap to his chainsaw hand when he wishes.

The Maxx is as seen in his TV series. He is permanently in the real world unless otherwise specified.

Amon is as seen in season one of The Legend of Korra, in full equalist attire. He has all of his waterbending and bloodbending abilities, but may not remove people's powers. Nobody is aware of his true identity.

Hercules is as seen in the movie Disney's Hercules, in his adult demi-god form.

Everyone aside from maybe Hercules is definitely dead but I'm not sure Hercules could escape either

Kool Aid Man could survive regular Cube I think but a Hypercube might actually be impossible

Really given the size of this place and how hard it is to tank stuff like "The room that ages you a thousand years", the trick to escaping this one is figuring out you need to stay put in the first room and ride out the ensuing timequake. So it's brains, not brawn

I don't see how any could survive, but just to say, if this was the regular cube i'd say herc, amon, and kool aid man would be the ideal survivors.

Amusingly I kind of see Serone as the only one with a shot here, he feels like the one guy who would do what guy in the movie did with endlessly killing clones of his teammates until he puzzled it out

So for this one I see everyone plopping into the starting room. Kool Aid Man soon plows through the nearest wall. "OH YEAH!" And everyone decides to follow him, he probably gets everyone through the time barrier by plowing through it too. "OH YEAH!"

I'm thinking everyone gets to the Tesseract okay, and that mean thing kills Kool Aid and Maxx (he's dumb enough to think he can fight it). Serone probably shoves Ash at it and ducks back out. Ash is tougher than that, probably follows him. Amon and Hercules are fine, they keep going.

Serone likely winds up back in the starting room, right in time for Kool Aid Man to plow through a wall. "OH YEAH!" He kills Kool Aid Man again. Gonna guess right around here he parks in a corner and waits to see what happens, Serone is clever like that. Elsewhere, Ash probably runs into time clones of himself, kills them and immediately knows what's happening, he has enough experience with time travel. I don't think he's smart enough to figure out how to get out, but I think he keeps going long enough to end up in the starting room again. Serone jumps him. Ash blows his fucking head off. "Groovy."

Amon and Hercules end up in the Time Trap. That's interesting, I don't recall it taking effect immediately, but it will if they stick around. Hercules might not be smart enough to get out in time, Amon is, and he's calm enough not to freak out even if suddenly he's aging incredibly. I feel like he gets clear, Herc doesn't.

End result, we're going to end up with Ash chilling in the starting room, probably shooting multiple Serones every time they come in through the front door. Amon is eventually going to join him, Boomstick won't work that time. Time runs out on the Hypercube, everything collapses. Amon and Ash fall through time. Do either of them get through the portal to safety?

Well, Ash knows a magic mystery portal when he sees one, so probably.

We might want to add some sort of clarification that the Hypercube is closing in on itself, eventually opening an escape portal in the center.

Come to think of it, I do think Amon is smart enough to survive this.

I'd buy Ash but I don't think Amon is that stable. Dude's visibly flipped his lid to things less traumatic.

idk, maybe it's just me having some old comics, but I think y'all are severely underestimating the durability of Kool-Aid Man. At a minimum, Kool-Aid's jumped through the vacuum of space without spilling out, through spaceship metal (say what you will about cartoon ship durability, getting into space ain't easy). I don't know what the hell he's made out of but it's sure not brittle enough to be ordinary glass. Well-tempered son of a gun, too.

Like TV Kool-Aid man is kind of campy and would probably lose but I think has the raw...stats to just ride it out.

It's not the main body of a spacecraft, but you could probably punch a hole through the wall of an empty booster. Getting into space is hard largely because you've gotta be as light as possible.

I'm gonna take a page from FFD's book and say Everybody Dies. I think the hypercube is survivable IF you know how it works. But the knowledge gate is so high if you don't that I don't think it's possible to escape.
