Too bad it sucked. It had Rocksteady, Bebop, Kraang and the turtle truck. And to top it all off, the best part of the movie is the very end when they play the original song. Damn, that was good.

It's definitely better than that first movie. The second one just felt so weird in that not only was the writing bad (as to be expected) but it was as if the movie wanted to be a cartoon, if that make any sense.
Like, there were dumb toon sound effects and particular character actions that would be amin to something in a cartoon but didn't fit in a live action setting. It was really distracted when I watched it.

It's one of those movies where you tune your brain out and maybe you'll find some enjoyment.

The turtles looked ridiculous.

One of the things I think the movie did right was the gear and accessories that the turtles had on them. They really played it up to their personalities, interests and style of fighting. I always thought that was cool, but yeah, the turtles themselves could've used work.

Too be honest, I think all the TMNT movies aren't really good. Out of the Shadow, I felt, they at least learned something from that piece of shit first reboot movie. It was like they tried (emphasis on 'tried) to take the cartoon and put it into movie form with varying results.

I only care about the 1990 movie and Secret of the Ooze.

The original film is still amazing and holds up well today. Then Secret of the ooze gave us Super Shredder.

Yeah that was dumb. There's a really stupid scene where he's interrogating a guy by destroying stuff in his bar and it's hilarious when you realize that a cop is detroying this dude's property and gets away with it.

This is just one of those small things that people didn't like because it's different from the established status quo that they're use to. As far as I'm concerned, it's just as ridiculously cornball and stupid as their usual origins, which is what that movie went with anyway.

I kinda enjoyed the first Michael Bay reboot but I'm guessing it didn't sell enough toys for kids so they decided to focus on the 80s demographic instead for 2.

Pretty much. You can especially tell this if you look at the trailers for both. The first movie was using rap songs by contemporary artists and the second movie was being advertised using tracks by the Beastie Boys and Run DMC.
