When I say "hard mode", it seems to be more like "brutal mode"

Figured I'd make a topic for this, since I just beat the game yesterday. I didn't read the other topic about this game last month because I hadn't finished it and didn't want spoilers, but I'm curious to know what people's thoughts are.

My world rankings:
3 > 4 > 2 > 1

I'm hype. So hype. Give it to me nooooow.

Also hard mode looks completely nuts.

I am going to do a full replay because of this. SO HYPE! It's my 2017 GOTY.

I can't do a world ranking because I love them all for one reason or another.

1 has the exploration and charm of a perfect intro level
2 has the story, characters, and Murder on the Owl Express
3 has Snatcher, Queen Vanessa's Manor (I actually felt scared somehow!), and a "classic" feel to it
4 has the epic platforming sections

I like how Jonas and Co. decided to make each level a unique experience, each doing its own thing and doing it beautifully.

I cannot wait for this. It's free on Launch Day? Awesomeness.

2 does have my single favorite timepiece in the game, but the other ones are just bad.

There's two standouts there and neither can meet any definition of "bad." Murder on the Owl Express and the boss fight.

The other ones are nothing special, though.

I wasn't a fan of the city levels in 2, especially in comparison to the train levels. That was the weakest part of the game to me. Also they make absolutely no sense as movie plots? How is a parade a movie...?
