Fuck that water level, Zelda's water temples ain't got nothing on that shite.

I just switch to Meat Shield (Raph) for the seaweed hell room. The level isnt too hard.

The city level is kind of BS unless you know where to go.

The underground level is fucking shit though due to RNG and enemies with too much health.

Dont even talk to me about the Technodrome

Ah, second try I missed one early on and ran out of time backtracking.

I should killed off one of the turtles. I didn't realize the dam exploding was instant game over.

Its one of those levels that are much harder when you're a kid.

But the game overall is such a brutal guantlet I still cant beat it.

Yeah I can't get past the next part of the game at all. I can get past the dam, but man...you don't know hard until you play the rest of that game. I'm amazed at anyone who can beat that game.

To complicate things the final level is pretty much impossible unless you have about 20 of the scroll sub weapon. So if you game over and lose it (brought from previous stages) then youre fucked.

I've made it past the water level when I was a kid but I never beat that city level that was next. Always seemed to run into impossible jumps and it was all just very confusing.

I remember sitting down for a serious attempt to beat it. Got destroyed on the dam level, or the level after that all the time as a kid so I decided to put some effort into it for once.

Game over'd fighting the Technodrome itself and gave up. Ugh. Couldn't go on, especially after all the horror stories I heard about the final level after that fight.

The final level is literally like some shitty Mario Maker course. Nonsensical design. Random sprite/tile placement. Unavoidable traps like dropping into a room only for it to be all spikes. And enemy spamming.
