I was prescribed Adderall and when I was in college I found out that I could sell my script for $240/month and get the same results out of $25-40 of meth. The meth use wasn't my full reason for dropping out, but it contributed to my financial irresponsibilities.

Mostly everything under the sun, though amphetamines, benzos, and weed were the only ones I actually had gone out of my way to try more than once. I've tried heroin and cocaine a few times and they weren't my cup of tea.

I was as responsible as I could during my "usage" phases regarding hygiene (2x showers a day, facial cleansing, regular brushing/flossing) but I have never gotten "oh you're only 28?" from anybody yet. Meth addiction isn't quite like other addictions, and even though I'm over a year clean, I still have to be on edge. When you run out of meth, you don't really immediately crave it. It's the weeks or months after when you start having intense vivid dreams where you can see yourself using again that make you think "oh maybe this time I can use this responsibly."

The worst thing was just an asshole thing of me to do, and I had found a buyer for my adderall script in person for a higher price, and scammed my online buyer for $240 (which is what he paid me monthly) since I didn't really need him anymore. I never really used with anyone else and I kept my use private, I didn't have a local dealer (I used dark nets) so I was really never attached with anyone who used

I had to find ways to be a more productive person without chemicals since I was used to just being a machine from being prescribed adderall. To be honest, I was a really irresponsible person, I could just get shit done because of the adderall/meth. I learned to manage my time better and schedule things out so that I don't feel overwhelmed with seemingly insignificant things.

It made you feel like a total machine. You felt awesome and you just have this hyper sense of focus that could be used to school work, video games, or even masturbating. Not a joke, I went over 24 hours before finishing once and my prostate felt like a fucking engine piston just shooting stuff out. I shot over my head and hit the wall behind me and soaked my stomach and face.

It also made you want to keep taking more, and when you take more, that's when bad things start to kick in. My first battle with Meth Psychosis was in college. I lived alone in a studio apartment, to the left of my apartment was the elevator, to the right of mine was an empty apartment. Well, one night while stimming and playing WoW, I started swearing I was hearing "God damnit, he's going to be fucking awake ALL night again" and I kept hearing stuff on a similar vein where this guy was bitching because his girlfriend didn't want to have sex with him in his apartment because of the creepy tweaker who was always awake next door. It eventually escalated to the point where I heard him threatening me, to the point where one day I ran out of my apartment, expecting him to chase me and beat the shit out of me. Again, nobody lived in that apartment building.

I knew 2 people who killed their mentality on meth - one of them was from high school. He ended up homeless at some point - he would sleep in the woods or in the tiny boiler room of his work. I felt bad and let him sleep at my place a few nights... and he stole from me twice.

I was lucky to have parents who were cool with me staying with them after I failed at being on my own at college. I lucked out and got a decent paying factory job while living with them. I'm glad they never recognized my usage (probably since they were used to how I acted on adderall) and the thought of disappointing them is one of the main things in keeping me clean. I would frequently go to work slightly high on meth, or up on day number two at work. Nobody ever noticed, other than that I was very productive. I'm not sure how nobody ever questioned my profuse sweating, it was a hot factory, but not THAT hot.

If you read my post above where I talk about meth psychosis, pretty accurate. It's really crazy how psychosis can make you be unable to tune out the thoughts that are being forced into your brain. Another instance of meth psychosis was sadly at my parents house. They were on vacation and I was indulging more than I normally would when they were home. Our neighbor is a kid I went to high school with, and I kept hearing him yelling to me (as if he were standing by my window) asking if his wife could stay over tonight for some reason. It just felt SO real that I kind of yelled back a bit and said "dude just come to the door man, I'm not going to kill you." That week was one of the last times I used because they became a recurring psychosis event even with productivity doses. They didn't know of my uses but I'd constantly hear their voices in my head saying "oh he's using again, he's going to be up all night again." and it was just way too much that I started working my way out of feeling like I needed it.

It's very difficult. I didn't start being positive about myself until the last few months. I've been starting with setting small, achievable goals no matter how dumb they are and sticking to them. I started very simple, like making my bed every morning, getting at least 30 minutes of high intensity cardio five out of seven days of the week, meal prepping every sunday for my (healthy) work lunches

residence of living is bugged, it's not unheard of. those are only in place for incriminating evidence they're everywhere.

Mostly, I got my shit together shortly before I got that new job last July. I still drank and smoked up until a few months ago, though. I'm still having a few slip ups on drinking but I'm much, much better than before.

I never really did that, but I would sometimes get REALLY into an idea for a reddit thread and just write a huge wall of text and then spend hours nitpicking and editing it before posting it.

I can't really say I've ever gotten itches, though I have very small "speed bumps" in certain areas. It's not noticeable at all unless you're really inspecting my body and they just look like chicken pox scarring.
