Or ever, I guess? Even if not regularly. I know some jobs like to do things where everyone hangs out together sometimes. Or dinner for people leaving. So have you ever done stuff like that? Or just hung out with co-workers in general? Like as friends on days off, or on the weekend?

Not the ones at my current job, no. These guys all kinda keep to themselves (and a few are dicks in general with whom I wouldn't want to hang even outside work).

My previous job had some cool people with whom we would do happy hours and team lunches all the time.

Generally the answer is no.

I know when I was in the military(which I still am, but when I was still on the line...and active duty), a lot of us would hangout. I think it was mainly because most of us were pretty far from home and our friends and family, so it was better than nothing, I guess.

I play Hearthstone with my coworkers instead.

It was so much fun that online matches were never the same and I stopped playing

We've had a couple of Smash Bros game nights, as well... They were pretty fun. Haha.

I think one of my co-workers lives close. I saw him last night on the way to my BFs house. I had literally been out of my house for like less than a minute before I ran into him. Then I saw him the next morning(this morning) on the way from my BFs house to get food. Both times were pretty close to where I live. He did show me sort of where he live in the bus station map while we were sweeping and mopping. It was pretty close... Also, I guess that makes sense. You're pretty young right. Like you just graduated not long ago from High School, IIRC...

They weren't invited because I'm their employee. I've known them for 4 years longer than worked for them.

The way I work, I don't really have "co-workers" perse. I'm an independent contractor who has clients at multiple different gyms. That being said, I semi regularly hang out with the chiropractor at one of the gyms I work at. I also have several clients who I go to events and / or gatherings / parties with. I have one client who I go golfing with. One who invited me over to use her pool but I've yet to do that.

I also have friends or people I still stay in contact with from all of my previous jobs (except for my internship, that was only a couple months and most of the people I worked with there were much older than me). So yeah, I've always been very social with the people I work with. I find it's a great way to make friends you can see regularly.

Past jobs? Yes, although mostly in the form of happy hours and occasional parties. And technically one of my old bosses invited me to visit her new place -- I think she bought an old farm or something -- but I still haven't visited, although I really should at some point. Plus if I had lived closer to another of my old bosses, I probably would have hung out with him all the time (although he could be an ass)

Current job? No, although a co-worker invited me over for dinner when we started working but the date kinda didn't work for me. Had I known that she had a hot 20-something daughter, that might have changed my mind.

Then back when I was still in college (and high school for that matter), I dated a few of my co-workers since I wasn't emotionally invested in those jobs. And at least two jobs I wound up leaving following a breakup.

About 10 years. Some less, some a bit more.
