At least once a week I have someone asking me to come fix their shit for free. I'll help family, but getting asked to change brakes, tires, etc so often is getting old.

That's why I stopped telling people I have a computer science degree. There's always going to be a guy that wants me to take care of the viruses and malware on his computer.

tbh, I knew *exactly* where this was going >_> I've dated nurses in the past and, once people know what they do, they usually have something they want them to look at (and it's not always their dick). Not that I necessarily blame anybody, given that it can be a pain in the ass to schedule and go to an appointment.

I had an uber driver start telling me about how he used to have a meth problem when he found out I work as a drug and alcohol counselor. Turns out, a good amount of people with drug problems drive uber and lyfts.
