Not teenagers with super powers always getting stronger.

Not acting super awkward around girls.

Not getting into ridiculously contrived situations.

No fan service.

No love triangles.

None of the weird sexual crap.

No shock value settings (which is whats most popular these days).

Like an actually good story, told in manga form, without the awful culture that comes with anime.

Buddha being an awesome manga series. Monster is cool too, though not quite as good. Gon is also cool, for what it is.

Ugh, really difficult with all those limitations, specially if your tolerance to this stuff is absolutely zero. Maybe I can think of some that have none of those but one in a more acceptable way, but that depends on what you think is acceptable.

Yeah, that's the actually tough one. Imo the absurd scenarios are half of the fun in mangas. But I think Erased should bypass your criteria, and is quite good. Not sure if you can find it officially in English tho.

I genuinely dont understand what that criteria is describing. You dont want complex storytelling?

I don't think I've ever read, seen, or heard of a Manga that doesn't have fan service to SOME degree.

Or weird sexual moments. Or awkward love triangles or sexual tension. There's always some kind of shock value, or something quirky. That's usually why they decided to make it into a Manga and not a liveaction movie or pictureless novel.

It just comes with the territory of the medium.

What you are asking for doesn't exist.

That's like asking for a big budget Hollywood movie with no-name actors, an excellent story, an original soundtrack, no CGI, and no major political agenda.

It just doesn't exist. Because it can't exist.

Maybe Gamble Fish. It doesn't have some of that stuff, I think.

But I honestly have no idea what you're looking for. The stuff you don't want is usually what manga has. And if you don't like it and want better writing, maybe a book would be better for you...
