About once every 5 days. I'm skinny so the towel doesn't get super wet when I dry off.

are you actually getting your body clean? the idea is that the towel should be soaking up leftover clean water on a clean body. maybe you have poor ventilation in your bathroom and what you're smelling is mildew?

i change my towel once a week, but i have a towel that is pretty good at drying out quickly and i also use a loofa.

I used to change weekly but since moving to a really humid city like every 2 days

When you dry yourself off with a towel, it leaves moisture behind on the towel. And that moisture attracts bacteria. Really it's best not to use them more than once before washing. Especially if you're prone to acne.

Just hang it up to dry. Wash it when it starts to smell weird, or regularly before then.

Bacteria do not survive in dry environments easily, if at all.

Your towel should be dry like 20 hours of the day. That's more than lethal for like 99%.

I change it maybe once every week and a half. I should change it at least every week though. I got a new towel to add to the wash rotation so that should be good.

I have 2 towels, probably switch to a clean one every 4-5 days. When I was growing up it was a new one every day. My mom had like a hundred towels so was always more than enough.

I've always only used towels once. It wasn't until college and I had roommates that I realized not everyone does that.

Typically if I notice it's changed color or texture. Or if it falls off the rack. Otherwise maybe once a month. It doesn't tend to get gross from my clean body.
