I think that the argument is "every other week is straight pride week". Similar to the black history month thing. When people ask why there isn't a white history month it's "the other 11 months of the year".

The idea is that it simply isn't needed, because straight people have never been victimized for being straight.

Black history month is meant to be a reflection on how far a particular race has come from seemingly nothing in the US. The adversity they have faced and obstacles overcome.

If a person doesn't think about these things, I suppose it would be easy to get offended as to why you also doesn't get this special little treatment.

There should be a national straight pride week. We can celebrate the vast majority of humans during history that were straight and its not like it would harm the gays.

Same with a white history month. It wouldnt harm them, and it celebrates a good chunk of people in the US who are a minority world wide.

There's no reason to have a straight pride week. What the fuck would it even celebrate or be about? There's no straight culture since being straight is the norm and I mean that there's nothing obscure about being straight.
