Why'd you close your topic? If you had those thoughts and posted about them, then that means it matters to you. Some people were rude, but there's others on here willing and wanting to talk about stuff.

Just find another job. Your life comes before your job. And if you wanted Friday off you should just ask for it off. At lest a week in advance, though. But if you want a day off you can ask.

But honestly it sounds like you should just find a different job.

It's only true if you let it be, my dude. You own your feelings and it's good to let them out, you know? Better to vent here than to really go loose at work. Honestly, I think your boss was trying to do good by talking about varied workflow for you. I know I'm in the minority here, but I feel like good bosses cater to their employees and change structure to better the work environment.

Having a bunch of people who just grin and bear it all day is a sign of a lazy, uninvolved boss IMO.

Oh, and I know it sounds like such a canned statement, but have you ever tried talking with a counselor? Not for drugs or anything (and tell them to fuck off if they push it), but just to have someone to work through your worries with?

It sounds like you got an 8-layer cake of mental stress and it helps to have another person that can separate each issue and help you to focus on it. Right now, you're trying to build a house from the roof down. You need a good foundation first. Prioritize. What's THE most important thing to work on in your life? Only focus on that. Splitting your attention six ways to Sunday is only going to impede your progress.

See how you feel about life in a few more years. Don't judge the rest of your life based on how you feel/what you're going through right now. In the grand scheme of things you're still pretty young. Plus, technically, you're brain is still developing. Give it time.
