Whenever this type of seating is the only one available, Im always a bit disappointed. Especially if there is no back to the chair. Curious if others dislike it, like it or are impartial.

Im not fond of it. Id rather sit at a lower table or a booth. I like sitting at a bar sometimes but I dont really like talking to people and sometimes they think youre sitting by there to be social.

I like the swivel style a lot, but it's hard to get in and out of the kind of seats shown in that photo.

I despise it heavily. I'd rather stand, until my feet hurt, and only then begrudgingly endure sitting on such an evil contraption for a bit to give them a rest.

I only like it if I'm at a bar.

I kind of like stool seating, because it's taller than chairs or booths, so it's way better for legroom in general than smaller chairs. And I have giant freak legs, so it tends to be more comfortable for me than normal chairs or booths.

I have long legs as well (63) and I just dont like it very much. I feel like the first rung to rest my feet on is too high, and the next rung (while not uncomfortable) just feels awkward to use.

They can be good in a group where some people are happier standing, like a bar but they're annoying anywhere else.
