I was looking in the gaming clearance section when I saw a Fire Emblem 3DS game there. I usually give these away during my Fire Emblem panels at anime conventions, but the back part of the shelf was open and it fell down a shelf. I grabbed what I thought was that game while talking to a friend and headed to the checkout. I looked in my hand and didn't see it, but instead this.




This was the "third" version of that game, right? I've been meaning to check out this series and I'm taking this as a sign to play it.

the amount of stuff tied to RNG is heinous at times, but there's still a charm to it

I skipped on Psychic Specters though, I'm hoping we get 3 next year because I really like the look of the changes to combat they made

I got one of the initial versions knowing fully well a third version was coming eventually but I didn't really have any qualms with that

the Blasters spin-off which comes out this year though I'm likely to just wait until they release Moon Rabbit if I pick it up at all, and I only really feel like picking it up because I wanna make sure we get YKW3
