A female executive producer and dozens of staffers have quit the Talking Dead show after AMC reinstated Chris Hardwick as host which will air TONIGHT!!

The handful of exodus staff of 25 left their posts in protest after he was reinstated despite accusation of abuse from his former girlfriend, 29 y/o Chloe Dysktra

She said the 46 y/o had controlled and sexually assaulted her on a regular basis as AMC temporarily removed him from discussing episodes of the Walking Dead and host at comic con.

2 weeks ago it was announced he would return to the show as they said "We take these matters very seriously and given the information available to us after a very careful review, including interviews with numerous individuals, we believe returning Chris to work is the appropriate step"

Hardwick and the rest of his surviving staff had a "very emotional" meeting as sources said he gathered them together to apologize and described his demeanor as "apologetic" and "contrite"

He is also having one on one meetings with staff who wanted to address the concerns

Chloe, an actress and cosplayer wrote a long essay describing her ex, aka Chris had given her a set of rules she had to follow within 2 weeks of dating such as no male friends unless they worked together and all photos of her and males were to be removed from their apartment. She also couldn't have alcohol because he was sober who had an alcohol addiction..

She also said he sexually assaulted her before breaking up in 2014 where she would be in tears after he came home from work as he thought it was FUNNY.

Chris denied the allegations and said he was "heartbroken' over her post and said they were ultimately not a good match and argued and shouted at each other constantly but that he loved and supported her.

Chloe said he blacklisted her career in the business after the breakup and was very vindictive

She still stands by every word she posted as does former employees of The Talking Dead and The Nerdist which Chris owns said he made it very hard for people to find work in the future if he felt they betrayed him just as Chloe said.

I'm feeling conflicted. I like Chloe and I don't give a shit about Hardwick (who looks nowhere close to being on her league), but at the same time I'm getting fed up with the Salem-esque accusation-culture these days. Then I like the fact that people are willing to quit to take a principled stand but dislike the public display and I'm honestly not sure whether I believe he did anything.

Couldn't they be wrong, though. What if just a few people didn't believe him, but still somehow got a bunch to quit. I can't really agree that it speaks volumes. Sometimes, people just jump on the bandwagon. And that might be the case here, as well. It also could "speak volumes", but they might not really know what happened, either...

The number of people who believe he did it doesn't necessarily prove guilt, plus many of them may not have even worked with him back when he was dating her.

How so? If they were told that by somebody who heard it secondhand (ie, somebody lower on the totem pole who heard their boss mention it), even if they wanted to go on record (which could kill their career) it's still just their word against his. The only people who might have a written request to tank her would be likely be people loyal to Hardwick in the first place.

If it's a show that big, then they probably have a huge staff, as well. If they staff is really big, then 25 is probably not that many to them. And with 25, it seems more likely that it's a jump on the bandwagon sort of thing. You get like 3-5 who don't believe he's innocent. Then they get a couple of their friends who work there to quit with them. And then a few more people quit. Then a few more say, "Well, they quit, so it must be true" and quit as well. And with the way everybody wants to crucify anyone who may have possibly been accused of sexual assault these days, it seems likely that they don't really know what happened...

I think it's possible that people working with him know how he is and his attitudes toward women but that's all speculation really until someone else says something. But word does tend to get around the entertainment industry about how certain people are. It's like how comedians knew that Louis C.K. was jerking his gurken in front of people but nobody would publicly speak about it

Both totally aren't bandwagoning, and the more people that join in condemning someone before the facts are known, the more likely it is to be true.
Of course in my example it included reputable news organizations that adhere to journalistic ethics...usually. And in his it's some randos who worked on Hardwick's show.

The biggest issue is she has claimed she's got proof of his wrong doings. He has said show it, she can't/won't. She is a liar and AMC realized this after looking into this, thus hired him back. So if I was AMC I'd be happy to get rid of those PoundMeToo losers that quit over it.
