Playing the same games again and again; watching the same films again and again; reading the same books again and again.

It sometimes feels like I've been doing this since about 2012. Having the same stuff can be really bad, sometimes.

Yeah, but not a very good one. And that won't help with films (much) or video games.

I'm also pretty fed up with watching the same TV boxsets. Most of the stuff I own, I bought back in the late 2000s. I've been watching it for roughly 10 years now. It's just good luck I picked such great stuff, like my X-Files and West Wing boxsets.

Before we started dating, the girl Im seeing asked what I liked to spend my money on. I didnt know how to answer because, at the time, I was only barely scraping by paycheck to paycheck. She pays far less in rent, so shes able to frequently travel. I know the struggle.

That doesn't seem like too big of a deal for me. I'm the kind of gamer who gets stuck on like one or two games for 9-12 months at a time. I don't really buy too many games at all.

I can't relate too much. Husband and I are in a rough spot, but I'm obsessive over things. I can rotate like.. 2 or 3 games, and I'll be fine for a while. And I'm not overly interested in TV.

You can buy amazing games for dirt cheap if you want on Steam and GOG. Dark Souls and Valkyria Chronicles were like 5 Euro IIRC.

I've been playing Halo 5 since release (only in month long spurts after the first year and a half though), I went on two 6 month binges of Gears 4, like a year long binge of GTA Online, and Rainbow Six Siege has been my main game since about 2 years ago. PUBG is quickly becoming another main game for me. I also did a run of Dark Souls 3 that lasted 5 months or so. Throw in BF4 and DA:I near the beginning of the gen and that's basically all I've played.
