Um Puns it isn't hard to understand what it says. If I have a mason recruit last night, I probably used it on sheep. Doesn't mean it's what he did.

I find it curious that Scare went from "hammering" Red last night to having multiple people ahead of him in his scumlist. Now that he thinks Red can survive, he moved him up? Do remember most of the reason he got a town clear was the assumption that Panthera was scheduled and that he tripped Panthera up.

I'll be long dead by then, but if Scare is alive at final 4 or final 6, you should probably kill it. He's riding a "town confirm" that isn't real.

So assuming Sheep isn't scum, we have Red/Sultan/Dumey coming up to lynch, but we'll see.

The question is do we mass today? Like 2/3 of the game is claimed already.

Scare, Ben, Tange, MZero, God, PJ, Leo, Tony, Sultan and Corrik

Of those, God, PJ, Corrik and Tony are all Town, and Leo is confirmed scum. Tange and MZero are both very likely Town due to my scans, and can't possibly both be scum. Scare is probably Town, leaving Ben (shockingly on another Town lynch!) and Sultan, who're both probably scum

Sultan has a few strange interactions with Dumey in Topic 4, page 9, if anyone wants to look over it and save me transferring quotes. Dumey also seems to be prompting Sultan to try and make it look like both are producing more content. Could just be warping it to fit my new knowledge, but that's how I see it.

Sultan's vote on Panth is absolutely horrific as well knowing he's town.

I may as well have been on Panth, despite being slightly more sure Leo was scum. I didn't place a vote there because I knew people would be rash was their votes. You should consider me as a vote on Panthera.

Panth's behavior made no sense to me as coming from town, but his attitude was so much better than Leo's.

Also Scare suddenly putting Red above two people rang so many alarm bells that I can't ignore them. Seriously please kill him if for some reason he's alive at lylo.

On a less erratic note I've been noting Ben being nonfactorish all game so it's not like Ben/Red/Sultan/Dumey would surprise me either

But paranoia, just a bit.

Though I'd still find it odd for a scumScare to try a weird thing like accusing Panth. He couldnt have expected Panth to fold in like that.

I doubt we learn anything new from mass at all but it's probably worth getting out of the way.

I guess it depends on how sure we are of who we're lynching. It just occurred to me that we should absolutely not lynch Sultan for any reason today, especially if we think Sheep is town.

Even though he's scum, we can use his claim to catch-22 scum. If Tony and "Sultan" both target Sheep, then either Tony catches the roleblocker on Sheep, or Sheep gets another scan off. If Sheep dies and his killer isn't watched by Tony, it's a 100% scum confirmation for Sultan.

(The killer wouldn't be watched in that scenario due to Tony being blocked)

I was gonna say scum could just shoot Sultan (if he is town) in that case. But that at least removes another piece from the puzzle.

More than likely though, Sultan is scum and we dont get either night action. But we cant do anything about that.

If we don't get either scan, it's as good as a 100% scum scan on Sultan. I normally don't like directing power, but it seems like we should get something out of this.

Sheep isn't going to be anywhere near the chopping block regardless of how it plays out, and we can use what we have to leverage more information.

That's why I thought of forcing him to stick to a "target" but obviously that isn't going to work. I seem to be a lot better during the day this game than during morning or night.

We can claim together before I go to work if you want. Doubt much is gonna change at this point either way.

Considering we have a "scum scan" we don't actually need to though so I'll leave it up to you.

My thoughts going into last night were that if Sheep were town, scum might take the risk to throw a curve ball and get rid of him, especially if he's already scanned godfather.

I would've used it on him I think. Just my two cents on the matter. Using it on Tony would've been predictable and borderline irrelevant at this point.

I'm not harping. It was just the only post that happened during my sleep which was a direct response to me, but it failed it answer my actual question, so I took a second to reiterate it. I just now got fully caught up a moment ago but I have a more interesting question first

It does matter anyway, because it shows if you're truly considering a town mindset for the mason target.

I personally wouldn't have gone for someone who was likely to die.

I've only ever heard that one called Hunter/Vengeful before. Well, I guess there's no harm in claiming it now since I doubt he'll ever be lynched, and if he were scum it would mean he's the obvious choice to lynch if he gets to F3 so there's really no benefit to the claim.

He made a terrible vote last night (one of the few people with a solid chance of being scum to vote God as well) and he was probably the player I was most neutral on at the time of picking my scan. I thought Ben was scum anyway, and same with Red, so I was aiming to look for what was presumably the fourth scum. I also think it told me more about Red than Han, who was the other I was considering.

Well I'm pretty sure I never suggested he use it on tony.

But the difference is sheep was less likely town than tony. Because tony countered scum day 1 whereas sheep claimed after a janitor kill happened, and also claimed a role that's easier for scum to fake, in theory

Did Panth make any hints of who he would mason yesterday? That could give us a clue who he might have died targeting.

Where does han come into the picture there? Was there a han connection you mentioned earlier that I missed?
