Poll of the Day > PC wont let me transfer files from my computer to my phone anymore

I've tried restarting them, and different slots and cords but to no avail, it has to be my PC because I plugged my phone into my brothers and it worked fine
also when I selected the transfer images only option on my phone everything worked fine???
so what is it about the transfer files option thats messing it up?
using an android S7 edge and a Windows 8 PC

Plug the phone in, open the device manager and look for it under the USD devices drop down. Right click on it and see if you can uninstall/remove any drivers then try again.

Alternatively google it because I'm sure many people have had that problem

Yeah if you can't find it easily under the device manager, just google how to remove the device drivers for an S7 edge or something along those lines. Chances are the drivers are just fucked and need to be reinstalled.

If you remove them, you can just plug the device back in and have it automatically reinstall them.

Those things don't always transfer files, sometimes they just transfer power.

Yup. Google got too big and now none of the search results are any good. That's why I don't use it and I suspect many others won't either. They just say 'google it' the same way as Xerox meant copy or Kleenex meant tissue.

As for the problem, sounds like it was solved.

Mine is the opposite. Android is awful. Have to turn on debug mode or developer options or something. Still doesn't work. Have tons of memes I need off of it.
