Cannibal Holocaust

That'd be terrible, actually. And I've never even seen that movie.

You're not missing much. It's not that great. It's just popular because of the controversy that it stirred up when it first came out.

I saw Cannibal Holocaust as a child. It wasn't terrible. At any rate, if someone can handle it, I'm not sure why I should care? Ratings are a guideline, not a law.

South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut

About three seconds into "Shut Your Fucking Face Uncle Fucker" a bunch of parents with children and some older people cleared out. Don't know that they expected.

It happens often, but I remember one time in particular when I was watching Looper and someone kept kicking the back of my seat in the middle of the movie and then I turned around and it was some 10 year old kid.

I snuck into a lot of R rated movies when I was 14ish. But my mom took me to see 8 mile when I was 12 or 13 because I wanted to see it so bad.

I'll probably date myself by saying this but I saw parents bring their kids to see some slasher/horror movies (first house on the left comes to mind) and the Alien movies. I still see parents bring babies and small kids to R-rated movies which, to me, ruins the experience since I don't believe kids are emotionally capable of handling their subject matter. In fact, recently someone asked me if they should take their grandson to see Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom since he's into dinosaurs; my advice was to wait until the kid was old enough to not have nightmares every night because of it. I've never approved of taking kids to R-rated movies and never will.

Probably? I mean, I'm not usually paying close attention, but I've probably seen minor teenagers and just didn't know how old or young they were.

My dad took me to see it in the theatre when I was 12. I think the fact that my generation grew up watching South Park has something to do with the way we turned out.

I went to see Striptease on my 20th birthday and this couple brought their baby with them. Early part of the movie was nearly ruined by that baby's nonstop howling and screaming - it stopped when I glared daggers at the couple.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - parents, if you can't find or afford a babysitter for your little ankle-biters, STAY THE F*** HOME.
