I used to do it all the time, I loved it. I've had too many concussions from mostly seizures but some other happenings, so I don't skate anymore. I couldn't ever really do flip tricks but I was great at mini ramps, bombing hills, manuals, and just like riding it. I just sucked at tricks

Skating is fucking rad but as a XX year old, I feel kinda goofy considering I never skated as a kid. I'm super crappy at it but I still love it as a whole. I mostly watch competitions online and play hella THPS.

Thought it looked cool in the 90s but began to be nonplussed by the 00s. At any rate, never really got into it. Didn't even play that many skating games, although humorously my brother and one of his friends owned quite a few despite neither ever skating either. At least one of those games was pretty fun, but can't remember the system let alone the name. (iirc, I remember it having a song with a recurring verse with the word, "Don't," in it, which is probably nowhere near enough to successfully ID it.)

At any rate, 6/10 because it's an interesting manner of transport and can be a great deal faster than walking/running.

But everybody knows how to ride a bike. Maybe not well and be able to do tricks or anything, but just the simple fact everybody can do it makes it less cool

But everybody knows how to ride a bike. Maybe not well and be able to do tricks or anything, but just the simple fact everybody can do it makes it less cool

Anybody can pick up a skateboard also, But holding your balance on a skateboard is no different than learning how to balance on a bike. Have you ever seen freestyle/street BMX? I use to skate pretty damn good back in the day, but trust me, I use to envy people who can do tricks on their bikes because its a lot harder than youd think. I mean yea anybody can pick up a skateboard/bike and learn how to balance, but doing the tricks takes a lot of practice. Id even say that BMXing is a lot more dangerous than skateboarding because youre pretty much moving with a huge piece of metal between your legs. On a skateboard you can easily bail out with out having to worry about getting impaled on your bike.

Im not debating the difficulty, its super difficult to juggle six grapefruit. All Im saying is everybody knows how to ride a bike, making bmx automatically look less cool in comparison to skating. My mom knows how to ride a bike, but she would never step foot on a skateboard.

That, in my opinion, is the reason that I think someone skateboarding looks cooler than someone bmx biking.

Im not saying thats not cool or difficult, I have just always felt people on skateboards are the cream of the crop when it comes to cool guys.
