I beat Super Mario 64 legitimately with seventy stars this morning, unlike when I cheated with only fifty-four stars the previous evening. I do still have games installed on my sister's Sony PlayStation 3, but I couldn't play them even if I wanted to. So I'm kind of free to not finish those games... Anyway, she did buy me a Sony PlayStation 4 and Final Fantasy XV already installed on the PSN account that we share. So I technically have four games left to finish. Anyway, I will understand completely if this paragraph sounds very mundane, boring, and generally uninteresting. I just like telling people that I finished a certain game. Anyway, during my therapy session today, I was told that I needed to make more eye contact when talking to people and to try greeting them once in a while. Right now, I make absolutely no eye contact with people whatsoever, not even with my family members. I never manage a greeting to anybody unless somebody says hi to me first. And this is when I start to think that something is really wrong with me if I cannot make eye contact with people when they're talking, even if I interact with them on a daily basis. I don't know... I think I'm just too afraid of their reaction if I did greet them, which is the main reason why I don't normally do this. On one hand, I have lived with my family for my entire lifetime, and honestly wouldn't care what they'd think if I actually looked into their eyes while talking to them. On the other, I'm genuinely afraid of what people at my workplace think of me, and how they would react if I greeted them. I mean, I was thinking about who to greet, and I decided that I would just say good morning to that bus driver who must drive me to work tomorrow in exchange for two and three-quarters of an American dollar. This is what I would think would be far easier than saying hi to co-workers and such. I know I'm very socially stunted, but this is what I consider easy: saying hi to some random bloke whom I'll never see again, get off the thing he's driving, and get to work while being too afraid to greet people whom I actually know. We also discussed how my current job is unfulfilling, and that I'm basically only doing it for the money, now. He encouraged me to seek a job that's more in line with my interests. But I'm scared that if I quit, without a college degree of any sort, it will be nearly impossible to find such a job. So I don't think I have a choice but to stay at my current job. I mean, I'm grateful for the people who helped get me it, and the company for letting me stay here, but sometimes I feel like what I'm doing isn't relevant to my long-term career. My current job just gets mundane sometimes. And it will be very hard to find a part-time job for a degree-less college student with a restricted schedule that is relevant, anyway. I've also been thinking about leaving the job sometimes, because I've been looking at my schoolbooks and I feel like my semester will be pretty rough with the classes that require them. But I don't think I should make a decision until the semester starts, and I am absolutely certain that I am under too much stress from work and school. Anyway, which game out of my current backlog do you think is the best?

I must have these answers.

Journey of the Cursed King because it's Dragon Quest VIII.

And there's no way I'm going to try reading the OP text.

I just bought like four new games off Amazon, and I've already got like 3-4 in my backlog.

And yet I just keep playing Minecraft.

The Zodiac Age is great. Not a fan of the job system but just about everything else was an improvement. Have never even heard of the other two so an easy vote for me.

Ive zero issue with eye contact myself but i generally dont talk to anyone unless they speak to me first yeah. Good luck with getting over that im not even gonna try.

You know, I really am not liking Dragon Quest, and I am very tempted to resell it for ten American dollars. If you've already read my rant on turn-based RPGs, you can kindly skip this wall of text and read something more interesting on this board. Anyway, the random encounters are such a bore, and sometimes you can't avoid them. There's very little strategy involved in dealing with them. All you basically must do, if my inexperience in this game does not betray my knowledge of how to handle with these encounters, is spam attacks that target every enemy--namely, Thin Air--because attacking them one-by-one just takes forever. This type of combat is just so mindless and tedious. And after issuing your party members your commands, you're forced to watch a bunch of animations of party members either attacking, initiating those long-ass spell animations, or just goofing around in the case of the monsters who they're attacking. The latter is especially vexing, wastes time, and the combat system in this game just infuriates me because I have so little control during battles. And I don't know if these enemies doing random crap is meant to add charm to the combat or if it's exclusive only to early-game enemies, but I personally think it's a waste of time. In any case, I get bored and impatient really easily, and I think I bought this game prematurely when I heard that it was illustrated by the same bloke what drew Dragon Ball. Because I pretty much hate how the game plays. The combat is very much unappealing to me, moving around the map takes so bloody long, and the music just feels so bland and gets old really quickly. All it generally consists of lately is grinding, getting to the next town to learn about which dungeon to traverse next, defeating the boss, and repeating the process over again. The story is okay for an RPG, though, but it's not something spectacular. I'm at that point where I first get the boat, by the way. The only reason why I can't enjoy exploring around (which I imagine would be the entire purpose of the boat) is because of those damn random encounters that seem to take forever to get through. It's just not an enjoyable experience. In short, I can't see why people consider this game good. I know I'm expressing much dislike for a very popular and renowned game, like I did for Super Mario RPG. But I just don't think that it's very fun at all.
