Last year was fun and introduced some new hotties to the roster. Season 4 was the best, then the 1st. But some characters really need to go, like Lori Petty's character, Crazy Eyes, Tastee (whom they tried SO HARD to force an Emmy towards), and Lorna, who does nothing but be a guidette stereotype for each season.

The consequence was pretty big especially based on how gated the setting of the show is a lot of characters got split up

Season 5 is really good though.

I think the reasons people disagree are:

*. it coming after season 4, the best season so far
*. it taking a different format. refreshing but super slow paced. I think it was a nice breath of fresh air but y'know, most people just want their old formula over and over

I liked season 5, but it was definitely a little slow. Also, once a show gets to season 5, I typically like to see some sort of endgame developing, and placing the season over the course of a few days kinda did the opposite.

I'm six episides into season 6. My endgame criticism from last season has definitely been quelled. It's already been renewed for season 7 but I can see that being the last one with the way they're building this season. But this show has fooled me before.

Ill watch but the last two seasons were basically shit outside of some flashback stories. Overall theres just been a lot of terrible character development and I think the writers probably just get high/drunk a lot when coming up with ideas now. Either that or some directional authority was lost.

But Im invested off the first 2-3 seasons so fuck it.

That was my problem with season 5 their was only 2 tense scenes. No tension at all and it was during a riot. The writers seem scared to take any real risks with the characters like they use to it's boring to watch now.
