What's actually happening is that you look at someone, make a judgment on whether they "look" male or female, make another judgment regarding their "looks" based on the physical traits you can readily observe, and then sexual attraction triggers based on those. Basically, if you're a guy, and you are sexually attracted to someone who looks to you like an attractive man, then you're homosexual. If it's to someone who looks to you like an attractive woman, you're heterosexual. If both situations are possible for you, then you'd be considered bisexual.
