Good, but not optimal. SG's are great tanks even without an MG buffing them, especially once you can equip armor plates on them. However, using one instead of an SMG when you have AR's behind them means you're wasting potential tile buffs for the AR's to do more damage and the SMG to have better evasion.

Using a mixed team of 2AR/1SMG/1MG/1SG isn't that resource-heavy, and everyone gets some sort of tile buff if you arrange them correctly.

Damn, night battles are pretty fun now that I'm godstomping. In fact, I did Corner Breaker as a flawless victory just now, then the second time, only SOPMOD (instead of Thompson) got damaged somehow. Those little robots that trudge into melee range are frickin' idiots, haha. Might have to grind this a spell to get those limited drops. The redhead one can equip AP ammo, right?

I'm surprised they didn't do an event where you can get Sangvis Ferri baddies on your team (one of 'em has a sword, IIRC). Maybe in the future, hmm?

All of the Cube missions besides the first one end right when you kill the boss. But just finding the boss on the later ones can be a pain in the ass.

Yeah, I didn't even find the boss in the third mission. You can sometimes ballpark where they are based on the first-turn movements, but it's probably easier on the 2nd mission, haha. Not sure if the turn limit is a boon in the 3rd, since it's so easy to run out of resources before the last turn. (I admit, I was excited to get that night battle RF, only to find out it's the last mission's reward. Lame.)

Welp, got my ass kicked by Ouroboros. If I had activated some skills (forgot the whole time my team was getting massacred lol), I probably could've squeaked out a win. Pretty sure I got her down to about 25% health with Welrod's kickass evasion helping out a bit. That special missile attack wasn't a huge deal, but those friggin' green lasers being shot from off screen were cheap as hell. Not cool.

Yeah you should be lvl 75~90 to be safe. I've seen a guy who did a lvl 70's run and he did beat Ouroboros, just that he lost pretty much his entire team trying to do it

I think I could do it with my current team. Might have to be more proactive in baiting her regular attacks, though. Maybe ditch Springfield for a third AR, then keep switching the front row unit. Only Thompson and Welrod can really evade stuff, though...still, it might be enough.

I learned (among other things) that grenade damage is unaffected by armor, so most of the AR's I've been using on my main team are actually more useful for night missions than I thought. Also, Flares are pactically useless, MG's can be reload-cancelled, a few guns that I thought were bad or mediocre are better than I gave them credit for, and IDW DA NYA's older sister is actually one of the best shotguns in the game right now despite being a 3*.

Dang, saw a vid, and looks like it's the easiest to pull off for Negev. Basically during reload, you wait for her to get the str buff from her passive, move to another space and back really quickly and she'll start shooting again.

For other MGs you need to study their reload patterns. Honestly, this is pretty revolutionary for me lol.

It'll be fine. I was under the impression that Cube was supposed to really hard and I was gonna want meta characters for it. But it turned out to be a walk in the park. My guns will be fine.

Cube is like 9000 difficulty. It's barely harder than like 5-4E, maybe easier even.

Ch. 6 Emergencies, Ch. 4 Night, 0-3, 0-4, they're all not easily doable unless you're overleveled or using a good team

Same here. I usually pick based on my favorites, but finding out that some of those favorites are actually really good (hello FAL and SOPMOD) or mostly terrible (hello MP5 and FAMAS) can be entertaining.

And that tier list is pretty funny/weird.

I love some of the alternate pictures (like M16A1 as Solid Snake and SOPMOD as a Christmas tree) as well as the comments.

Fixed. I love her to bits, but there's no denying that her special equipment is the only thing that makes her decently usable. For people that don't have that equipment (like me) she's one of the worst high-rarity SMG's out there.

Yeah, my MP5 kinda sucks. I've been giving her EVA-boosting stuff whenever possible, but she feels a bit gimped for a frontliner. At least Thompson has high HP to offset the downsides.

It really isn't necessary at all, especially since you won't have a SG to pair it with until once you clear enough missions to unlock Heavy Production. But even then, having one MG in a squad and buffing it with a HG (or a SG if you're far enough to have one) is fine for early/mid-game. Using more than one MG early on is asking for trouble though, since they cost a lot of resources to keep running. As for how to build your team for early/mid-game, I'll go back to one of my earlier responses:

3AR/2SMG and 3RF/2HG are the most standard of standards. You can mix it around with stuff like 2AR/2SMG/1HG, 2AR/1SMG/1RF/1HG, as long as no unit is left out of the tile buffs. For a well-constructed team, every unit on the team should be either buffing another unit or being buffed by another unit, preferably both.

I can't speak for Chapter 6 or Nights, but I made it through Chapter 0 without too much hassle.

I have 6 chapters worth of Logistics missions unlocked and none of them give Quick Training Contracts. I've been playing since the original launch day almost three months ago, never used a single QTC, and I only have 12 of them... that I have absolutely no idea how I got. Maybe they're rewards from certain quests? Or log-in bonuses? I seriously have no clue how to get them, and that's why I've been saving the very few that I've gotten for when the training timers get really long.
