From what I've seen/heard, it seems like it's just a cheaper PC/Steam shovelware sort of game that somehow managed to get a physical release. So any difficulty isn't deliberate as much as it is just bad programming.

I'm interested in it. I saw it on sale and I remembered it was something I wanted to get at some point, which then reminded me that I saw this thread. I didn't open the thread when I first saw it, but figured I'd take a look now that I was thinking about the game.
