I have probably thrown a controller or two in my life, but I truly cant imagine being so mad at a game that I throw my controller

I threw a few in the 90's
I also bang some things even now if I get really frustrated... But altogether, it was pretty uncommon and I never actually broke a controller by doing so (Minus one wheel's middle click) I knew people who broke many a controller back in the day. They grew up spoiled is my guess.
For me growing up, anything I broke... I would be left without it until I could replace it during Christmas or a Birthday. Because of that mindset, I treat everything with care. If I get really upset with a video game, the most I'd do is punch a pillow and that's it. --- If you make an intelligent post, people tend to ignore it because they only respond to stupid.
