You could take them and play them in public, but who actually does that. Usually when you're out of your house you have things to do. It was cool when you were a kid and didn't have a TV or computer all to yourself and you had a tiny SNES/N64 in your pocket. My brother has one. He hoards it in his room. Very antisocial tbh. The family room feels barren of Nintendo games, unlike the last 12 years. We used to get up every Saturday and Sunday morning and play Super Mario Galaxy. Nostalgia is the biggest . Used them more when it was too hot up here to use consoles but I've since gotten a portable monitor so I can pretty much do whatever, wherever. Even on the porch. Going to get stuff done on you car can take a long time, depending on what's getting done. Or going anywhere to wait for something. Also, it's good for traveling. Like on a plane or whatever. I personally take it to work with me for breaks. And I know a few other people who do that, too. People do take it out with them when they're out and about.
