The Rugrats are of the age where, if they were real, would be parents now too. It'd be a good way to appeal to older fans that are now adults with kids of their own and kids too. It could even follow how they compare their 90's upbringing with their babies's 2010s upbringing with ipads and stuff. If they actually put work into it, it might not be bad.
