They're pretty good company but it's unhealthy to invest so much emotion to the point you have a lot of mental stress over a death. Death is part of life. If you want a pet, you do your best to give them an awesome life. It is kind of odd how we get so involved but I understand from an empathetic approach. We need to apply that empathy for humans more.
