your life every time you did sit, would you do it ?

Assume that traveling in time is round trip and you cant stay wherever you travel to permanently , lets put a cap of two days total for each trip. So every time you returned you will die 6 months sooner than you would have, and you do know that this is the case you just dont know when you that means youll die.

If you were going to die in 5 months anyway and you time travel, you drop dead when you return

Dying half a year sooner is totally worth buying a lottery ticket yesterday.

Quite so, I expect. 6 months is nothing to an average person.

I guess going back in time and convincing my younger self to take better care could add years to my life

Going further, with more money you probably increased your life expectancy. So the risk ends up being a net gain.

I'd probably travel to 200 years or so in the future and die because I don't expect humanity to last that long.

I have acute psychosis during depression episodes and that's basically time travel.

Also smoke cigs so there goes at least 6 months.

Guess I'm already there but I'm only able to fast forward time not rewind.

I simply go so far out into the future that they've invented immortality and just become a timelord.

You're gaining years of your life if you play the lottery and no longer have to work. As long as you keep yourself busy with hobbies and stuff, and keep healthy...

For those if you saying you can gain life through lottery

How do you reconcile with not knowing if you might be dying in six months anyway, and now youve just cut that 6 months into 0 months? Having a good quality of life doesnt mean shit if you accidentally get hit by a bus (or whatever random final destination accident that could occur )
