Finally figure out how regular expressions work.

A regex is just pattern matching. You use a short-hand notation to define which parts of a string the rule you're defining matches.

So you might have a string like this: "Thomas Sowell is awesome"

And you would then use regex syntax to create a "rule" that extracts the piece of the string you want to extract.

Unless you're going to work with regexes every day because you use Perl for some reason, the trick is to not try to memorize the syntax and all the little rules. Just use an online generator for experimentation.

A couple years ago I worked on a pretty involved web crawler side project. Wrote a lot of custom scraping code with regular expressions. I still didn't really memorize much of the syntax. *shrug*

It's one of those things you learn enough of to be dangerous with the aid of tools, but never commit to memory.

This my plan at the moment:
1st - Get my GCSE Maths and A Level ICT, which would make 5 GCSE and 1 A level
2nd - decide my 2nd A Level and computer hardware course
3rd - Maybe University ir permanent job
4th and 5th?

That is assuming my body stop being an idiot. I failed GCSE Maths and A Level thanks to being sick from December 2017 - April 2018. Basically strong headaches thanks to my allergies giving me sinus problems, unable to sleep thanks to block nose and lot of flem. Was the entire night spitting flem out.

I found out about CBD Hemp Oil, looks like it is working, my allergies symptom have greatly been reduced. Although it was too late I only had little time to study which I failed.
