Trumps going to announce his nominee for the Supreme Court in a few hours and you know Democrats are right now researching each of the 4 possible picks and digging up any dirt they can find on them.

As soon as the choice is announced social media is going to explode with nothing but complaints from the Left.

The family separation issue is old news and biased news is looking for something new to "report" for the next 24-72 hours

Lmao this happens literally every time. With Obama's last nominee the Republicans stalled it until the general election was over because they had control of Congress in hopes of a Republican president. And they got one. So now here we are. Quit fucking whining.

I didn't say anything about it. It was a political powerplay that wasn't unexpected. I do think that it's shady and stupid though. Now that it's their turn though they want to be completely hypocritical and not wait for the midterms to pass.

And to be frank, I'm tired of acting like both parties are the same anymore. The republican party is out of control. I don't care if I would have whined if they did it. They're putting children in abandoned warehouses, deporting their parents and keeping them in here to appear in front of a judge without representation because they're children and can't afford attorneys. I'll stay mad, thanks.

In fact not doing exactly that would be a total admission of defeat by the Democrats given how well it worked for the Republicans (and will likely continue to work with how limp the Dems are about fighting back).

tbh, Chuck Schumer already had his whole I will oppose ____s nomination with everything I have" and was just waiting to fill in the blank with the nomination. Partisanship just gets more and more extreme, especially since the federal government gets more and more up in everybody's business.

It's along the lines of the flat earthers. These people always existed, they were just afraid to say what they thought because they would rightfully be put down for it. Now in the internet they find the other people who hold the same absurd views they do and it makes them think they aren't alone, like they are on to some secret, like they are a "silent majority". Because people always want to assume people are more likely to agree with them than disagree with them.
