Short skirts/shorts/booty everywhere

Awesome cosplays. Saw a lot of Jokers, Futabas and a few Tae Takemi's. Didn't see any Kawakamis tho unless I didn't notice lol. Or they were dressed up as maid Kawakamis.

I kinda like it more than Comic con tbh

Yeah it was super fuckin hot. And what's worse is that it's in LA so it was also muggy as hell. But at least inside the convention center there was AC and there was minimal time spent outside.

My co-worker went to A-Con this year. Nobody called it A-con. They called it Line-con because she had to wait in line for over 6 hours.

Is A Con the same as Anime Expo? Because the three days I went I didn't wait in line over an hour, and that was just the first because we had to get our lanyards first.

I do hear it was worse last year because you had to get your badge at the place. This year they just mailed it to you.

It was the major one they had in Dallas a few months ago. Apparently, they don't mail your passes out to you, you have to pick them up on the first day. On top of that, their computers went down.

Here's a fellow who's never been to a convention.

I'd need a serious crew to run with if I were ever to do an anime con again. Too many little squirts (13-18) making as much noise as humanly possible. Antisocial types suddenly social and not knowing what to do with it.

Give me MAG or PAX.

It was pretty fucking crowded. I think a lot of it was due to the smaller lanes and they didn't even use the full extent of the rooms they had. The artist alley was dope but the aisles were pretty damn narrow which fuckin sucked because people would stop to check shit out Midway causing huge traffic

If you could only pick one Pax East or MAGfest?

One of my friends who does concerts at PAX East says he likes MAGFest a lot more. But I honestly find it hard to believe. I probably will have to do it one year just to see.

Well there you go. MAG is very friendly to musicians. It's a music heavy con.

PAX - Big names, little names, tons of panels, board games
MAG - Music, cosplay, parties, arcade, artists

Gun to my head, if I had to excise one from my life, it'd be MAG, but I do enjoy them both for different reasons.

I figured that MAGFest was more music based, but I had never gone there. Alright I'll stick with PAX more often. MAGFest sounds like a blast though with parties. I always wanted to go to one at PAX East, but damn man, if I'm not doing shit from 10 am all the way until midnight every single day. Partying will just make it so I can't enjoy anything the next day when I'm dead tired.

Any big time worth the trip to make restaurants you've ever gone to in boston? I've always loved going to Boston Burger Company and just finding a shwarma place later on. Conveniently there's a shwarma place right outside of the convention center.

I've gone like twice alone (unfortunately couldn't go this year) and it's fun, but waiting in lines suck especially when there's no shade or if there is shade, then the sun will always happen to be in the correct spot for it to go under the tarps they put up over the lines

still fun though and being able to see my idols in concerts is great too since it's the only chance I'll be able to do so

It was cool, though it sucks how few panels they had on Saturday that I was interested in. I only buy one-day passes before they're full-price, so I have to choose way in advance what day I have to go.

I ended up doing the Jojo escape room too, and that was actually super fun. I sort of regret not being able to do the Zero Escape one that they did a few years back.
