I have ZEEERO idea what happened in that game story wise. I was kind of interested in the opening chapter br after that I just stopped caring completely

Just had a bunch of fun infiltrating bases and ogling Quiet. If that game had a story at all I dont think I noticed.

It's amazing that Kojima had the greatest opportunity in video game history, to bring his series full circle into the original Metal Gear. All he had to do was focus on the building of Outer Heaven, and give us a final boss battle with Solid Snake and it would have been the most iconic shit I've seen this decade. instead we got some uneccesary bullshit and more questions than answers

MGSV has a shitton of interesting story stuff and it's easy to follow, all you have to do is listen to tapes. Which you can do at any time during gameplay instead of quietly sitting in place watching 2 portraits lip flap at each other for 15 minutes at a time like most of the series. It's amazing how as soon as the story isn't told in a way that ties you to a chair and forces you to absorb it clockwork orange style, people think it's unfollowable or nonexistent

The mutated version that fucks up mother base isn't one of Skull Face's. At that point their solution was to make it so that the parasites couldn't reproduce. Huey's radiation "testing" made it mutate and reactivate along with the wolbachia and boom, you've got a new strain immune to what they were doing before. The parasite gained the ability to reproduce asexually. Venom proceeds to kill all the carriers as there was no treatment for them at that point.

The three vials skull face had were

1. Destroyed when he was killed

2. Inside Quiet.

3. Held by Eli. This is a bit of a plot hole and clearly a victim of how the end of the game turned out.
