Disney be like,
"Princesses belong to princes. Non-princesses belong to princes too. Non-princes can have each other." Seriously, before Aladdin, I think literally every guy who experienced romance was a prince whether or not it was essential to the plot. Things didn't get much better of the common man after Aladdin either. Elsa's gay or asexual, we haven't decided yet, but you can have her annoying freckle-faced sister or short-haired Rapunzel. Was the Tangled guy secretly a prince. I never watched the movie but I remember him being a rogue and I wouldn't be surprised if they did the secret prince shit with him
