Just to clear this up, it wasn't 'reviews' it was 'coverage'. her game was favorably mentioned several times in reviews for other games by one of the guys she was sleeping with.

Deroir is a big streamer in terms of Guild Wars 2. It was never hugely popular on Twitch so in that context he's one of the bigger more well known ones.

Considering how hard they tried to push a single reddit post as representing the entire GW2 community to demonise Price's opponents despite it turning out to not only be out of context and unsupported in the community but made by a Price supporter who hates the GW2 community and was deliberately misrepresenting them...

I'm noticing a distinct lack of proof in that tweet. Anyone can claim that and it sounds pretty made up. Trying to argue it was bots and not the actual playerbase being outraged is not only patently false, anyone who spent literally like 10 seconds on the reddit board for GW2 when the shit hit the fan would know that. Even without doing that, you can make some pretty logical conclusions by reviewing the fact that she attacked and insulted one of the most popular and visible players in the fanbase, and then later doubled down and started attacking OTHER highly respected members of the community. Topics on reddit about it criticising her for it were the most upvoted topics there period and it was clear a lot of people were not happy about how she was treating people.

Just reviewing what she did, and to who, it should be obvious the fanbase would be upset by that.

But arguing with someone making points like this is gonna be like arguing with a diehard Trump supporter: they're fed their talking points from propaganda and they will not budge from them no matter how many facts and logical arguments are thrown at them. The defenses of Price are all shoddy and basically going for a shotgun approach of just throw everything in for her and see what sticks.
