Can any Mexican explain that to me? Acording to the census only 10% of mexicans are fully white yet they represent of of the people in TV comercials. I just came back from Cancun and niticed that.

Lighter skin is looked upon as better in most countries on planet Earth. This is why many people who aren't white de-tan with chemicals. Lots of Asians do this.

I think it's funny when some of those commercials have people speaking spanish like a newly learned language
