My parents and relatives are constantly asking me when I plan to get married and have kids. I keep telling them that I don't ever plan to get married or have kids. They ask why. I tell them because i dont want to have to deal with the same exact problems theyre having after they've got married with kids (lots of debt, daily heated arguments, not enough money to feed themselves or time to relax).That seem to upset a lot of them but they still ask or text me everyday about it anyway.

But today, my other relative did something different. She asked me if maybe I can agree to an arranged marriage that way they cut the middle man out (huh?) so that I can just focus on having kids with this woman.

"Afterall, women know what men want from them and that's sex"

I told her no. Then she asked why. I told her that want to enjoy life MY way and spend MY hard earned money on what I WANT. More importantly, I want to spend MY time on ME. She then got upset and called me a selfish piece of shit and hung up.

This is the same relative that's married but has 6 kids to feed in a third world country.

Its pretty selfish not to let your sperm do what theyre meant to do.

If a relative said that to me, I would block their number and they'd never see or hear from me again. That's an offense worthy of permanent tie-severing.

family doesn't have the right to tell you what to do.
they should be happy for TC if he's doing well financially and healthy.

i have low standards myself for this life (i don't want to focus on having a family, a dog is good enough).
