Oh snap, did William get HORSE'd to death? That'd certainly cut short the plan of that creepy dude bearing a grudge against Bullock.

I watched it a few weeks ago. Great series. The preacher's story really struck a chord with me and left me terrified tbh. I introduced a D&D villain to my campaign modeled after Swearingen and the PC's love him (I honestly thought they'd kill him after the first encounter but they didn't linoone)

There is a wonderful let's play of Dwarf Fortress that starts out like any other, until a user roleplaying Al Swearengen takes over and turns the fort down a path of ruin that it never recovers from.

That one is twice the size of Deadwood and also twice the emotional investment. Like you gotta psych yourself up to deal with some of the tragedies it throws at you.

It's also the only show where you get to see Dexter Morgan make out with Ben Wyatt.

I love how Bullock's hatred of crime is coupled with his anger at wanting to be the bigger man. That's why I'm glad he's technically the protagonist and not Swearengen; he's the personification of Deadwood's tug of war between lawlessness and civility.
I could go on and on about how Justified's Raylan Givens is just Bullock in a period with more laws to bend and abuse, and how that gives him an unrivaled level of smooth, but I won't so here's just a picture of him so you really start to understand the parallel.

Anyway, seems Tom's boy has some kind of throat problem like doc. I wonder if it's botulism or something with those damn peaches, lmao.

Both are good choices. Breaking Bad is written like a western too, one of them slow burning ones where you know the journey can't last forever but it's a wild ride in the meanwhile.

Meanwhile Justified just does its thing and you never want it to end because all the actors have great chemistry with equally great Elmore Leonard dialogue.

Well, if Justified's so hyped, I guess I have no choice. It helps that I don't know any spoilers about it.

Also, I forgot about Wyatt Earp. Surprised they're only bringing him in during the home stretch. Must be to buttress the allied ranks for the upcoming battle (or, at least, I assume it will happen) against Hearst's cronies.
