I don't know about all 2K games, but I know Civilization 6 has tons of negative reviews because of 2K's DLC method of charging $5 to $10 for one new Civ and nothing else, and almost never putting them on sale on top of that (this summer sale right now is the first time I've ever seen them on sale).

Don't know about nowdays, but back in like 2010-2013, it was because many of the their games wouldn't have 360 gamepad support and one of the people from the team on the forums was basically like "yeah, no" despite some of them having it.
