Is ordering ahead at a fast food joint even a thing?

But anyway, I'd say if you have more than 5 or 6 meals you should at least go in to order.

At certain ones, you can. But I think it's up to whoever's working there that day. And whether they want to...

Definitely. The big chains let you order ahead on apps, even for single-item orders.

For fast food (obviously not counting pizza), there's no such thing as order aheadiquette. Doubly so because people might order as others are already standing in line, so putting them ahead of the queue doesn't make much sense. Granted, in theory if a place gives you a pickup time, it should have your shit ready by that time. Otherwise why give you a time at all?
